Release v0.2.1: Granular Scopes & Admin Tools
Introducing a new safety system with Granular Scopes, powerful Admin Tools for schema management, and UI improvements.
Safety Meets Power
As SDRbot grows from a prospecting tool into a full RevOps assistant, giving it "root access" to your CRM is a big decision. With v0.2.1, we are introducing a major overhaul to how permissions and tools are handled.
Granular Scopes
We have replaced the binary "Privileged Mode" with a three-tier scope system. You can now toggle these instantly with Ctrl+T or by clicking the scope indicator in the header.
- Standard (Default): Safe, day-to-day operations. Reading and writing to core objects (Leads, Contacts, Accounts).
- Extended: Access to custom objects and non-standard data types.
- Privileged: Full admin access. This is required for tools that modify your CRM's schema (creating fields, deleting objects).
This ensures you don't accidentally delete a custom field when you just meant to update a record.
Admin Tools & Schema Management
We have added comprehensive Admin Tools for Pipedrive and Twenty.
The agent can now:
- Create and Edit Fields: Add a "Lead Score" number field or a "Competitor" dropdown programmatically.
- Manage Objects: Create entirely new custom objects in Twenty.
- Auto-Reload: When the agent modifies the schema, SDRbot automatically resyncs its internal model, so the new fields are immediately available for use.
The Skills System
We are introducing a Three-Tier Skills System that gives you ultimate flexibility:
- Built-in: Skills we ship with the bot (like the new
crm-migrationskill). - Agent: Skills specific to a particular agent configuration.
- User: Your local overrides.
You can now "Save As" a built-in skill to your local ./skills/ folder and modify it. Your local version will automatically take precedence, allowing you to tweak our logic to fit your specific workflow.
UI & Workflow Improvements
- Ctrl+A to Approve: We moved the "Auto-Approve" shortcut to
Ctrl+Ato make room for scope toggling. - Ctrl+S for Setup: Quickly jump to the configuration menu.
- Better Multiline Editing: Moving the cursor up and down in a long message no longer accidentally cycles your command history.
